And The Oscar Goes To...

Queen’s biopic Bohemian Rhapsody led the night with four awards, which includes Best Actor, Film Editing, Sound Mixing and Sound Editing. Rami Malek, who portrayed Freddie Mercury in the film, won Best Actor in a Leading Role, beating the other nominees including Christian Bale from Vice and Bradley Cooper from A Star Is Born. The film follows Mercury seeking to fulfil his dream of becoming a famous singer and ends up joining a band called Queen. They then became superstars from creating music that electrified audiences in the 70s and 80s. Aside from Bohemian Rhapsody’s win, Black Panther, Green Book, and Roma also shared a big win at The Oscars, taking home three awards each.
