Zung, The Ninja Photographer
Photographs For The Soul
by Wy Yee Chan
Zung has gone all around the world capturing souls through his black portable box or what is better known to us as a camera. As a photographer, he is widely known as the ‘Ninja Photographer’, or as declared by Donald Trump himself, the ‘best photographer in the world’. As talented as he is, Zung is one humble photographer who believes in law of attraction. He believes that, if you exuberate positivity, positive things will start happening to you. This has brought Zung very far from where he was, which is a small fishing village in Sekinchan, to countries all over the world while taking photographs for the biggest personalities around.
He is not your average photographer who merely shoots superficial beauty or what meets the eye. He goes beyond that, he tries to capture the very essence of an individual and unleash his or her soul from within and relish it on a photograph. When asked about his amazing talent of capturing people’s soul, he attributes it to his need to constantly be different and extraordinary. He thinks that, in order to be outstanding, one must always strive for excellence.
With that in mind, Zung always goes all out in doing what he does best; capturing people’s soul. To be able to do that, Zung tries to learn and to understand them before the actual photography session. During the photography session, Zung tries to talk to them like a friend so that they can be themselves and he could photograph them for who they are. This is what makes Zung unique and he has since taken the world by storm.
Zung has travelled to 73 countries around the globe and next year he hopes to travel to more exotic destinations (Balkan countries, Cuba, Bosni, etc.) to experience more of the world and its diverse cultures, meet different people and bask in rich, authentic cuisines. If you are planning to have a photo shoot, Zung hopes that he can photograph you there!
He also hopes to enlighten young aspiring photographers around the world through his “3P” principle (Passion, Professionalism and Purpose) by organizing workshops and speaking engagements offline and online. He thinks that this is very meaningful and it allows him to enlighten lives. He aspires to inspire before he expires.
